Sorry guys, but i gotta bother you with a kit-making related question again. I've been trying to use the Pen tool but i can't really figure it out.. i even found a video on youtube on it, but he used a older version, so that didn't work. So finally, i've decided to ask you guys. Can anyone give me some advice on the pen tool Maybe even a link that might help. I use photoshop CS5 if that helps. As i really can't figure out how to use it. I know it's probably hard to explain, but you can't blame a guy for trying right?

YouTube - [Tutorial] How to create kits using the Pen Tool
With this video, he uses an older version. It took me quite a while to figure out how to make it work in CS5. The one step that is missing is after you draw the shape with the pen tool, You need to go to the menu on the right where it will say something like "Shape 1" then right click and choose rasterize layer. If you don't rasterize the layer than the "layer via cut/copy" options will not be available.

I learned everything I know about the pen tool using these three links, and then experimenting and practicing a lot.

I don't wanna open another thread for this, so i'll just ask here. Is there any chance that someone can tell me how to but sleeve patches on kits? Well, i don't really wanna use the sleeve patches but i'm experimenting with the FB w Shorts and socks template, and it looks kindda dumb when the socks are so empty. And i guess you use the same technique for that. A link or something would help

Thanks in advance.
