I play football manager 2014 every day and a huge fan but i just seem to keep making new saves as i cant find one i enjoy! Any tips you lot could give me would be great, thanks

Give it a chance. I always find the first transfer window amazing, then the season gets boring as it goes on BUT for me as soon as you get to the point where you start bring in wonderkids from your youth or other peoples and looking for transfer bargains and contracts not being renewed on players and players retiring etc it really livens everything up because it goes from having a lot to do at the beginning to nothing until near the end of the first season. to having a smaller amount to do but more regularly which keeps you involved.

Although this might just be me and might be linked to me decimating my youth team with every new game because the majority just don't cut it.

I went through this phase then I Started a save with southampton

probably the most fun save I've done, it's a squad mixed with dead wood players and players who will have a bright future and a fantastic youth academy

sometimes i like to sim the whole first season then create a new coach in may of 2014, pick an underperforming team, and go from there.

For instance, I simmed a whole season and saw that ManU finished in 12th place and fired two coaches throughout the year, so I took over ManU to see if i could return them to the top.

Sometimes, simming to a different date can change a lot, player recruitment is much different, and you will now have some regens to try and grab and be excited about.

i always sim untill some one gets sacked then i take over there job or wait 1 season and look at who has struggled then try to bring em back to glory days
