network game help

hi guys new to the forum

me and freind tried to start a game last night but to no avail, i set myself as the server (ticked run as server) made a network name etc i then start a new game, tell my freind my ip address in the game status page, but he keeps getting unable to connect to server message when i ticked myself to run as server

very new to this network game lark.... help would be much appreciated as we want to have a game tonight....

I have had the same problem. and its doing my head in.

i woul dloe some help on this, and just some tip on why it might not be working, please please lads.
