Network game - Unable to connect. Yes I have Hamachi.

Im trying to set up a network game with my friend but every time he tries to join it says unable to connect to server. After reading all the other problems listed on the forums, I've realised mine is different.

We played a network game on 2009, with hamachi. We have the same hamachi accounts. Still joined and both on steam. Same patches. I've used editor on the database but that shouldnt affect it because we've done that on previous versions. Also we tried to start one on a normal database and still didnt work.

I have it ticked as run as server and we've done everything we did on the previous game before. Please help, any suggestions welcomed.

Open ports and maybe put your router in to a dmz and it will work, had to do that last night myself

Do you have the legal version ?

Are you both on the same fm version such as 10.2
