Glen Mack here,

after 3 seasons of fairly easy promotions, I'm down to my last 6 games in CCD1 and I'm 4 points off the playoff places, I have EVERY league loaded, and it takes a fair while to process games, but it's so enjoyable to be able to scout everywhere and know you might find a gem.

However, having assembled a decent squad, I am so close to some playoff action that I'm actually physically scared, as you can see I have a decent defence, but I'm struggling to really put teams down.

The last 6 games are against teams from the bottom half of the table, except for the one game, AWAY against Leyton Orient, the team occupying what I think of as MY place in the playoffs!

-

VS Doncaster 1-0 they made me sweat in a serious way. I would kill all my players if I could! Mak (my Slovakian prodigy) Finally got me the points after 94 ****** minutes! only 1 point between 7th and 5th!

-

VS Norwich 2-1 another nail biter, after going 1-0 down I switched things around and threw 3 up front and now only 2 points separate me in 7th and Oldham in 4th. However, bad news, Marignale is my Captain, and has been ruled out for 2 weeks. Elford also picked up a knock and is being treated at his home club, no word on how long yet. And to add insult to injury, Japan have called up my Keeper, Jun Iwasaka, for an under 23 match ruling him out of my next game.

-

VS MK Dons 2-0 a relatively comfortable win, after the 2nd goal. Juho (who won Finnish player of the year) grabbed a goal and set up the second for that little wonder Mak. Up into 5th, but Swindon have a game in hand, fingers crossed, they'll lose against Crewe.

-

VS Leyton Orient 0-0 Jun came back from his international duty disappointed, having been left on the bench for the entire game, but still managed to call a mdeia conference asking for the players to put in a good performance, and he led the way, making 6-7 great saves that kept us in the game. Unfortunately, despite losing their game in hand, Swindon won today, pushing me back down to 6th.

-

VS Gillingham, 1-1 my bogey team, can't seem to beat them for love nor money! All was well, and I was feeling confident but we were having our usual problem of getting that 2nd goal, but when the officials announced 7 minutes of extra time (seriously, I was like "You have to be f**king kidding me" at the screen) I knew we would be robbed. Surely enough, a foul on the edge of the area (which looked like a penalty if I'm honest) gave them the opportunity to score in the 96th minute... and they did... b***ards. This has left me in 6th equal on points with Leyton Orient, though I have a far superior goal difference.

-

VS Northampton 2-1 Well, what can I say, the lads pulled it out of the bag, after going 1-0 down, I employed my usual all or nothing tactic, and threw three up front, instantly yeilding a penalty Ousman handling the ball off the head of Juho, and an instant red. My Finnish international striker tucked away the penalty! Half-time we check the league, Leyton Orient are winning, if all stays the same, we miss out on the play-offs, I stick with my three up front, tell them to do it for the fans and tell my lazy Argentinian playmaker to pull his thumb out of his ***. He did. He should have been awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute, but the ref missed it. So as usual, my lads like to make me **** my pants by leaving it till the 92nd minute, my loan player from WBA, Elford, tucks away an immense finish from the edge of the area... Play-off place secured!

Now I'm going to bed to rest before the play-offs!

You people should so do it! Create a team! I'll make you badges and kits! I never feel so deeply connected to a club if I start in the premiership, or with a club I know really well! Make it YOUR team!

how do you make your own team? cause i would do it if i new how

not gonna start a new game but when iconquer europe with the celtic then i think i'll take over a **** team with a big managerial reputation like sven did with nott county

infact may eve go them if they have a vacancy at that particular time

Might make my own team actually. :P

Not done it before, would be something new.

my advice dont stress, if you are playing well and then so be it but if your only gonna scrape through then it aint worth the stress of getting promoted and not being able to compete only my opinion you will start not enjoying the game

It's worried in a good way! (like worried/excited rollercoaster feeling!)

I don't think I've enjoyed a game as much as this in any FM, it's the first time I've created a team, but my goal is to establish us a championship team over the next 2 years and then push for the Prem!

Yes, I beat Swindon 2-0 in the playoff final!

I'm working on my new kits for next season!

nice one let me know wht they look like

is there any chance that u could make me a team and then send it 2 me?
