Hey guys, my forum has opened its own league. Unlike the create-a-league mode on the game, this one won't use default squads as all results and stats of the league will be recorded on the forum rather than on the game.
This means there can be a transfer system and the use of custom squads.
The format is you'll be assigned a random club. Don't worry, it's purely for cosmetic reasons. So if it's a 1 star club, no need to panic as you won't be using their players online.
You'll have an empty squad and a massive cheque book. It's then up to you to compete against the other managers within the leagues transfer market to bid on the best players in order to make your squad capable of competing.
If you play a Player Match online then it uses the current squads you have loaded from your hard drive and doesn't revert back to the default squads. This is how we're able to pull this system off. The fixtures will be laid out on the forum, it's just a matter of arranging them with your fellow players, getting them played then posting the result for it to be reflected on the league table.

P.S. You don't need to be a top player of the game. All levels of skill are welcome.
