Greetings all. I've been playing for a few years. I'm now growing a bit tired of my favorite FM10 save in which I've lead Dover from non-league play to the Europa League. I'd like a new challenge. I'd like to blog my first game in FM11. I plan to do this mostly for fun, but I'd love to have a few folks follow and comment on my game.

So I come here for advice. FM blogs are not rare. What can I do to make readers interested? Here are a few ideas...

1) Although I've run into a number of North American FM players, I still think there are relatively few stories about the US Men's National Team or squads from other CONCACAF nations. There seem to be even fewer MLS stories. Perhaps people might enjoy more from this unusual league?

2) When I first started playing FM09, I played as Europe's best. It was fun at first, but I grew tired of playing as top squads from England, Spain and Italy. Shortly after I started playing FM10, I was randomly matched with Dover, and this has been by far my most enjoyable game. Over the course of this game, I've had to learn to play the game at multiple levels. I've built a new history for the team. Perhaps attention to another minnow might be both fun and draw attention. I'm particularly interested in clubs with short histories.

3) I'm really interested in getting input from others. Perhaps I might have the game select three or five possible squads randomly and then have visitors vote on which to manage? I could also envision allowing things like tactics and team affiliations be determined by vote.

These are my initial ideas. I'd love to hear your comments. What would be interesting to you? Thanks, in advance, for your comments.
