New Goalkeeper for Liverpool. Third season

Hi all, as the title suggests I'm approaching my third season in charge of Liverpool. I'm going for a complete revamp of the squad as a board promise is to invest in youth and also give them first team opportunities. I've finished 7th both previous seasons with an expectation of European Qualification through league which I've failed both times, however won the Capital One Cup in my first season managing to get into the EURO Cup. Despite failing I still somehow have a job and a new contract.


So what I'm basically looking for is some help from some of you experienced guys out there to help me finding a young goalkeeper but who is also good enough to play first team football. I have a budget of £30m although I would ideally like to bring in a young centre back as well. Only player I've really found is ter Stegen from Gladbach but they want £67m for him.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would not get a really young keeper as they reach their prime in their 30's...

Zouma is the first best option!

Thanks for that ill be sure to check them all out. Would you recommend to keep Pepe Reina for the time being then? I've been offered £15m for him but saved the game and came to work so not yet accepted or rejected
 
Liverpool have some really good young CBs.Give them game time.Wilson,Kelly in particular I buy most games.

I would keep him for another season mate..

see who you can get for that price, if you can get someone better then I would sell him :) probably cheaper wage as well
 
I do currently play Kelly, has around 50 games over two seasons, mainly as a sub. Wisdom has been loaned out last two seasons so may call him up as a back up.

I'll certainly check the list Raikan so thanks for that. Just seems that since I haven't qualified for Europe most of my players are wanted... Suarez, Skrtel, Agger, Reina, Lucas, Henderson
 
Look at courtois from chelsea, ans also look at selling henderson and agger and reina and skrtel and try and sign like astori and some other replacements, id keep lucas though
 
Fair enough, how do you rate borja Gomez who plays for Granada?
 
Skrtel was on his way to Juventus for £20m but then I cancelled it as couldn't find a decent replacement. Skrtel and Agger are both approaching 30 now which although is prime for a defender I may sell one. Coates seems to be a revelation. 28 games last season due to injury to Skrtel and got an average rating of 7.58 so ill keep him. Gerrard is getting on a bit too but have some decent centre mids and AMC's as a play 4231 with no wingers so it's really GK that I need to sell Reina for £15m and then maybe a new CB to sell Skrtel or Agger. Or maybe both
 
Pick up this guy :) one of my best players I have found to date! love him and he plays really well! you can get him for cheap too!

Excellent, thanks Raikan ill check them out. Don't suppose you have any screens of any of those potential keepers or defenders a few years into the game do you?

Krul,Akinfeev,Weidenfeller,Mignolet or Begovic for a goalkeeper

Shawcross,varane or papadopoulos
