New patch is still not up to date ..WHY

saying they happened in the last week of course not. They wont have made the patch over night, the database was most likely the least of their concerns, bug fixing first. plus you can edit tham yourself in data editor, takes no time at all
Pardew happened less than a week ago.
Venkys officially took over about 2 weeks ago.

I imagine nothing will be done, they are happy with the patch, thats why they released it. The changes will be implemented in the next patch in February.
That is of course, assuming you have actually installed 11.2 correctly AND started a new game on the 11.2 database.....
Slightly off topic but I understand that these updates happen after the January window but do they update current player stats too? For example Marc-Antoine Fortuné (dump striker for WBA) is rated higher than Peter Odemwingie (our top scorer)?

and players that were done by other researchers, like Tiote, are getting looked at again

its like saying your expecting them to update every transfer, obviously the do everything after the transfer window closes. Thats the whole point in the Feb patch. This one is just to mend any bugs thats been missed on the trial as nothing can be made perfect first time.
Sometimes a players abilities fit better into a certain side though and it's hard to implement that into the game without changing stats. Fortuné has never scored goals either, not just this season. It's not so much Odemwingie being underrated but him being overrated which annoys me.
you should bring this upon the west brom data thread over at SI, and back it up with proof, then they will take it on board and quite possibly re rate him

Tiote's great, shame we didn't get him. Other researchers? What's that mean and who falls into that category?
players have been rated from end of last season, so new signings would have been rated at the club they were at before. for example hernandez was rated by the mexican researcher, not the united one. so tiote would have been done by the Dutch researcher
Okay, simple enough. Cheers. I'm guessing Odemwingie's poor rating is due to him having a goal drought in the Russian leagues due to being played out of position. If these players will be looked at again then that'll clear things up.

I currently have it in the 'updates' folder but it doesn't appear to be an option when starting a new game.
