New player cannot play for two teams in the same season issue

Hello all!

I am facing he following problem on my FM save.

I am on the beginning of a new season, in July 2016 and I am manager at Eintracht Frankfurt. I signed a player from the Brazilian league team, Sport Recife, who, judged by his ingame-History, never played outside Brazil.

Once he arrived I got a status close to his name saying that he cannot play for two teams in the same season.

Would somebody know why this happens?

No.. He is on my team and still cannot play. I put him on a loan to see if something would be different, but also the same thing on the team he went ... I can print some screen of the issue once I get home today..
