Pre Season Friendlies

Rangers 0 - Olympique Lyonnais 0
Happy with the overall performance in my first game as manager against one off the best teams in europe

Rangers 0 - Hertha BSC 0
We were on the back foot for most off the game and were lucky not to concede

Crewe 0 - Rangers 2 (Mendes 29, Fleck 73)
It was nice to get our first win off the season in our last friendly i think we are well equipped for the season a head

August

Rangers 3 (Mitchell O.G. 19, Whittaker 52, 57) - Falkirk 0
A good strong start to the season and really with Whittaker's performance grabbing 2 goals from defence

Hearts 1 (Stewart Pen 53) - Rangers 1 (Obua O.G. 75)
We were unlucky not to take all 3 points today we restricted Hearts to just 4 shots with only 1 on target

Rangers 3 (Boyd 13, Thomson 41, Whittaker 63) - Hamilton 0
another good win in a game we dominated from start to finish

End of month review

I'm verry happy with the way my team has performed in pre season and our first couple of games and i hope we can continue for as long as possible

The draw has been made for the Uefa Champions League where Scottish Champions Rangers have been handed a group with Spanish side Seville Russian side Rubin Kazan and Dannish Champions FC Kobenhavn

Ian Hall said of the draw "i'm very excited with this draw as we have a good chance to qualify Seville are a top class side and everyone will be expecting them to qualify and Ruben and Kobenhavn are teams i expect to take points of at Ibrox and if we can play to our strength's we should take points away from home as well"

Hall also went on to announce the Ibrox clubs latest signing Spanish striker Mista on a 2 year deal in a deal worth 550K from Deportivo

A good win a we showed why we are the SPL champions by fighting till the end

Rangers 1 (Verratti 3) - Sevilla 2 (Luis Fabiano 14, 58)
We started off brightly but Sevilla showed there class in the end pleased to see Verratti scoring and becoming the UCL youngest scorer

Kilmarnock 0 - Rangers 1 (Bougherra 54)
Good to see us bounce back from our first defeat with a good away win

Rangers 3 (Davis 21, Verratti 24, Murphy 30) - Raith 0
a strong win that sets up a League cup Quarter final tie with Kilmarnock it was nice to see Murphy score on his first start

Kobenhavn 4 (Santin 51, 90+2, N'Doye 63, Wendt 79) - Rangers 1 (Murphy 54)
Very very shocked at this defeat i fought we could have got at least a point in this game

End of month review
was a good month except for the Kobenhavn result i wasn't expecting much against Sevilla so that result didn't upset me we open October against Celtic so hope we can bounce back after the last result

Hall said of the signing "We are very happy to welcome a player of Adriano's calibre to Rangers. I thought the days of Rangers signing big name players had gone but with this signing it just shows the board and chairman want to take this club to the next level.

November

Rubin 1 (Bukharon 13) - Rangers 1 (Thomson 15)
a good point away in Europe and with Kobenhavn hammering Seville we are still in with a chance of making the last 16

Rangers 3 (Whittaker 1, Verratti Pen 72, Wilson 76) - St Mirren 0
A good win with two of my young Talents grabbing a goal the only bad thing was Mista picking up an injury putting him out for 2-3 weeks

Rangers 2 (Wilson 57, Naismith 62) - Kilmarnock 1 (Kyle 90+1)
Another goal for young Wilson and nice to see Naismith grab his first goal of the season against his former club

Sevilla 1 (Kone 36) - Rangers 1 (Thomson 76)
We should have won this game we were all over them and we also had a goal chopped off in the first half we are still in with a chance off qualifying

Aberdeen 5 (Diamond 15, Miller Pen 39, 84, Kerr 48, Belmadi77) Rangers 1 (Mista 46)
we got taught a footballing lesson plain and simple

End of month review
We had a good month except from the hammering up North against Aberdeen and pleased we are still in with a chance off making the last 16
