In Spurs in 2032 and have managed to slightly punch above my weight. Have been managing them for 2 years and am about 2 months into 3rd season.

2030 - Media prediction 8th, finished 2nd and won FA+League Cup
2031 - Media prediction 6th, finished 2nd and won FA Cup

2032 - Media prediction 2nd, so far I have lost 5 out of 8 (including a 7-3 defeat to Arsenal). I have also been knocked out in the 3rd round of the League Cup.

I havent sold any players and injury isnt that big an issue. I made some major tactical changes from my first to my second seasons due to different personnel and a different pitch size.

However I kept the same tactics this season and I am being destroyed. I cant explain it. Should I persevere with it or go for a new tactic for a new season?

I always give my season a bit of a change when starting a new season. After 2 years you really should

Thanks Anton. Spent about 2 hours tinkering with the team (and reading that Tactics and Theorem guide).

Some minimal changes but they have resulted in me being 7 games unbeaten in all competitions (won 5 lost 2).

I think the moral of the story seems to be: Treat every season as a brand new game.

Is that fair to say. Anyone disagree?

Ye I found that nearing the end of a season or at just at the begining of a new one the game would 'sus' out my tactic and be able to beat me so normally every season i create a new tactic which is a real shame because when i find one i really like i have to change it at the end of the season :(

I've never had this occur to me luckily enough. Yet that being said I don't suppose I keep my tactics the same for the entire save as my Tactical Consistency stat is only 2 5 years in...
