Ok guys

I've started a new season with Liverpool on the new 11.3? Patch. I'm sorry if their is a similar guide out there but I couldn't find a Liverpool 11.3 guide.

First:

Which players should I get rid off? There is a lot of deadwood around. I'm thinking of selling J.Cole, Poulsen, Kuyt. But I'm not sure of which players I should bring in. I was maybe thinking
of getting Mamodou Sakho, Javier Hernandez and a creative midfielder. However I only have 20mill available to me plus any money I generate from the above mentioned player sales. What's the cheapest I can get for Hernandez and Sakho? Would paying in installments help? If yes how much each month and for how many months? Also van you suggest a class young midfielder? Is Aaron Ramsey any good? And for how cheap can I get him for?

Second:

Tactics. I would first like to say that I want to be solid at the back. Then I can work towards scoring goals but priority is security. I was thinking of playing a solid two banks of four (4-4-2) domestically and 4-5-1 in Europe. Or a mix of where one striker drops deep to make the midfield 5.

Thirdly:

What combination should I use for the two central midfielders in the 4-4-2?

A ball-winning midfielder and a deep-lying playmaker? Or two central mids? One box to box and an attacking midfielder? Which combos do you suggest work best?

Thanks in advance. Any help will be much appreciated.

These expectations are a little high dude. Hernandez has not only just signed for United, but will not want to come to a rival, similar with Ramsey. Also, I play as PSG, and Sakho is incredible, but you will need to pay upwards £10 million easily. Installments would help, but it'll ruin you financially. I'd suggest looking for cheaper options, if you are looking at a poacher, I'd suggest Gameiro, fast and cheap, and only 23. Defense wise, have a look at Bassong, who usually is transfer listed for around 5 million, or Issac Vorsah can turn into a monster. And maybe Sorotiris Ninis for the midfield? a good cheap option.

The formation ideas are fine, but I would play box to box for gerrard, and have a more defensive midfielder for winning back possession as a ball winning midfielder

Don't get rid of Cole. He's quiet good actually, at least for me anyway. For back up striker, buy Vaclav Kadlec, only cost 1M,though only 18years old, can easily bagged you goals. For wingers, you can get Elia for 15M, Hazard for 14M. Sell Ngog, you can get 7.5M for him. You have no idea how many clubs interested after I transfer listed him.

Is it possible to unsettle Ramsey & Hernandez through the media? And what's cheapest you can get him for in season 1

Ramsey and Hernandez will never come to you in the first season , you'll also find it hard to sell Joe Cole as he is a recent arrival.

Best bet for a quick striker is Christian Benitez plays best as a poacher/advanced forward like Hernandez and as for midfield you could try for Arthuro Vidal sits deep and delivers balls plus has a good long shot.
Benitez will cost you around 4-5m
Vidal will cots you 8-10m
I think anyways.

Yann M'Vila is a good midfielder, or Camacho (Malaga) has been doing really well for me on my United save :)

For my 11.3 I sold Kuyt, Gulacsi, Lucas, N'gog, and Aurelio. (Poulsen, Maxi, Konchesky are hard to sell as they recently arrived.) If you don't have any qualms paying over 48 months you have quite a lot of money to spend. I got Hazard for 15.5, Thomas Müller (Hulk alternatively) for 32, Coentrao for 8, Yann M'vila for 12, Pjanic for 15 (Paulo Henrigue alternatively), and Musacchio for 14.
My first team:
-------------------Suarez-----------------
Hazard----------------------------Müller
---------Meireles---Gerrard------------
-----------------M'vila----------------------
Coentrao--Agger--Musacchio--Johnson

Subs: Jones, Carragher, Wilson, Pjanic, Carroll, Maxi, Poulsen

This way you get a titlechallenging team within the first season. If you want to do it "realistically" with money up front deals, I'd prettty much do what Daisuke said.

not a chance can you get near hernandez,
firstly we will have to bid a fortune to get united to accept because he is a new arrival and you are liverpool
secondly he wont even look at your contact offer

i cant see how you got muller, he is nearly impossible to get, you must be paying him a fortune.
if thats the starting 11 you have then a title challenge is well within your grasp

Team seems like you wasted alot of money when you could have gotten players who play just as well for less plus you must be paying at least a million every month because even over 48 months The amount of money for each to be paid back is alot.Personally Ive gotten Elia to perform better than Hazard and Hulk to perform better than Muller.Dont use a dmc that much but Vidal who have been cheaper and prob better thats just my opinion tho and from my expeience,Also dont understand why you bought Pjanic for 15m to let him sit in the subs.

In terms of strikers, I have found that in 11.3 Liverpool can get Karim Benzema on loan in the first season from Real Madrid, with an option to buy for 8 million the next year. You only have to pay a small loan fee 0.25 mil to 0.5 mil and only 50% of his wages real deal!

Really I saw a thread somewhere saying that its really hard to get him on loan I havnt got the patch yet so I dont know.

Yup, in 11.3 his agent offers him to Liverpool in July for something like 8 million pounds. You can respond with a loan request instead of a transfer and put the future purchase price as 8 million. Newcastle also makes a bid for a loan if you go the loan route, one time I tried purchase right of the bat, I think I had to compete with Bayern on contract negotiations.

Shockingly easy really.

well you cant get hernadez coz he plays 4 d mancs so get borjan 4rm barca in sted

I believe Kuyt and Joe Cole should do well.. I play them both on the Right Wing for Livepool at the moment.. Kuyt is first choice while I rotate Joe Cole.. they seem to be doing a good job.. and you are probably wasting your time trying to get Ramsey and Hernandez.. you can get pastore or paulo henrique and benitez or giuseepe rossi alternatively..

I seriously like the prospect of Ramsey becoming immense for the club...is there any way I can get him?

Is Bojan any good? Also what do you think of Nuri Sahin?

Sell the dead wood. I.e Maxi Rodriguez. Ngog. and some of the reserves. oh and that Greek idiot.

Bring in a back up keeper. Dreyer is a good cover. He's young and doesnt want regular first team football for a few seasons. and he's good for coover for Reina.

Then play 4-4-1-1- Control as mentality. Fluid as the other option. Offside and Counter attack. raul meireles as main Playmaker and Striker as Target man, to feet.

Reina (goal)

Johnson (Wingback/Attack)
Carragher (Center back/Cover)
Agger (Center Back/Stopper)
Aurilio (Wingback/Attack)

Kuyt (Winger/Attack)
Meireles (Deep Laying Playmaker/Support)
Lucas (Box to Box/Support)
Cole (Winger/Attack)

Gerrard (Advanced PLaymaker/Attack)

Suaez or Carroll (Target man/Attack)

Thats your first season and should see you easily qualify for Europe, I finished 2nd, lost the league by 4 points. Other signings, try to get a couple of youngsters in. If you cant get Dreyer, Scott Loach is good. Gai Assulin is a good youngster. The reserves at Liverpool are enough depth for your 1st season. Kelly is good defensive cover. Skertel. Buy sensibly and for the future, dont set your sights too high.

Is Steven Defour good enough to be a class deep-lying playmaker to play alongside my Ball-winning mid Lucas?

If not who else is out there who's young and likely to turn class?

Easily good enough.

If not, look at someone like Andrea Poli.
