New Style or Old Style Tactics?

Who uses the old style tactics with the arrows and who prefers the new style tactics with roles? I have a cracking formation with the old style tactics but in a way i feel like im kind of cheating and should be using the new tactics? Whats everyones opinion?

It depends on the person.
Mostly people use new style but some people still use old style.
I like new style as it is less confusing because I know nothing about tactics.

Because you are comfortable with the old ones but I'm not.

I prefer new style, but hardly use the Tactic Wizard other then standard situations. For the rest i just select each player and tell them to shoot from a distance, run with ball, mark man etc etc

I agree, i do think it makes it easier but i find the new tactics hard, its weird, im spurs and i will beat arsenal and barcelona 3-0, then not win for 6 games and lose 5-2 to villa, 3-0 to newcastle , 0-0 with birmingham and just go on a really bad run of poor form. its so frustrating

consistency is key, find a tactic that works and stick with it
