I'm new to this game. I played around with Manchester United to get a feel for how things are supposed to work. (Or so I thought).

So I started a new game with Newcastle United (I wanted to get them promoted back into the premiership). I won all my friendlies, no injury problems, conceding very few goals. Once the league actually started though, I have not won a single game in the 8 I have played so far. 5 losses and 3 draws. And in 6 of those games at least one of my players was sent off with a red card, in two of the games it was two players. Every one of those games I was the 'favorite' to win.

I've been having my coaches suggest a lineup and using the suggestions for opposed player strategy. I sub out players that are having a bad game. There has to be something I'm not doing. I have had record low attendance 4 games in a row now, and I don't know what to do to turn this around.

Help!

Just downloAd a jp woody tactic use it learn from it then create ur own

There's a lot to do with team talks, team chemistry and stuff too. Your banter feels pretty tactical. 2 red cards? Losing heavily favored games?

Yeah, just google JP woody V3.1 (if you're using the 10.3 patch) or Mr Hough's is pretty ballin' too. Smack the .tac file in your tactics folder and you're dandy

Everytime I see a help with Newcastle thread it always seems to be people having issues with red cards/sendings off. It's odd that it's so common? Must be a lot of players on roster with high aggression. Never really looked at the Newcastle squad in detail though. Try the "stay on feet" touchline shout. Or if if you have a tactic which has tackling set to "more agressive" try changing that to "more cautious". Or try teaching players not to dive into tackles. Hopefully you're issuing warnings for sendings off. I also find some roles in particular are more likely to incur cards like ball winning midfielder for example
