New to Football Manager

Hey all,


I'm pretty new to Football Manager. I have FM 2009 and I was wondering if I could get some help on some cheap players that are really good. I'm Altrincham in the Blue Square Premier at the moment, and we're not doing so well. But I've tried virtually every tactic going, and I'm still losing. So, any help with that would be great too.

Have a look around the website and it may help you. Trying having a look at the North/South Blue Sqaure leagues for good players

I would start off at a bigger club mate and work your way down. know it sounds a little bit stupid but it does work as you get used to wiining and used to players and how they play and then you can work your way down the leagues.If you dont want to start to high up and you dont mind a challenge but you can still sign decent players try the SPL.In FM09 my club Motherwell have got a good team if you play a 4-3-3
