Can someone please tell me who the closest player to xavi is in the game? tried to sing koke but he went to monaco. playing as man utd in the first transfer window. 40 million to spend. thank you

from my save I'd go with either herrera for 15million or verratti

Why get the next Xavi when you can get Pogba? Besides, Carrick is amazing, and his Passing and Creativity goes up as he ages. In my save, Carrick is 33 now and has 18 for Passing, Creativity, and 19 for Positioning and Anticipation. One of the best DLPs in your team already mate.

I have Carrick as my DLP and can't fault the bloke he is not normally my cup of tea in FM but I needed someone to sit there and spray the ball and he has done just that I'm just waiting for a regen to appear to replace him or I might go out and get Perreya (Udinese) for about ?10m

Benat has always been a poorer-mans Xavi on the last couple of FMs, not tried him on this game.

Go for Pogba if you can afford him, but it's rly hard to buy him out from Juventus. Otherwise, look at Verratti/Strootman/Obiang. Still, Carrick is probably the best from these. Too bad he can't play forever.
