Hello there, lads!
Attention! This is my very first experience of playing Football Manager series (I only used to play FIFA Manager before, and I'm not proud of it now). So please try not to laugh at my mistakes very hard, I'm only learning
Well, I've decided to take Newcastle United, because that's the team exactly I've been looking for (btw sorry for my pathetic english as well) - not so strong, not so weak, peacefully living in the middle of the table.
1st season:
During my first season I only had some 14 million pounds to spend on transfers. Almost the whole sum was wasted on a fella called Tyron Mings, from Ipswich Town. And he can't help getting on my nerves! This defender seems not so bad for me, but the problem is that he's never fit, so I have to use other guys at his position - you can see it at the screenshot below, with him not even getting involved into my best XI that season. Poor enough, isn't it?

Concerning the others, I didn't have much idea how to use the squad I had properly, so I trusted tactic which seemed the simpliest to me, with only adjusting few details according to the situation I had. Neither I had the time and knowledge of the game to buy some players I wanted, so my squad remained pretty close to the original.
Now speaking about the players I had:
- I was astonished by the performance of Ayoze Perez, who simply saved the season for me, I think. Didn't expect such tricks from this guy. Unfortunately, had to sell him to Juventus for 26kk.
- Papiss Cisse disappointed me a lot, and I decided to kick him out at the end of the season for almost nothing (3.5 million pounds, as far as I remember).
- Moussa Sissoko was tough, but Man Utd offered some 22kk for him in January, so I decided to sell him. Didn't regret, since we managed to perform only better after his departure, with Colback successfully replacing him.
- Janmaat, one of the best that year, I think, despite the rating. Didn't want to stay, went to Liverpool for 15kk.

The whole season seemed quite successful for me. I attached the screenchot above for you to see most of the games. The greatest achievement of the year was 3-1 victory over Liverpool at home, and the most painful part is January, with 3 consecutive goalless losses to Manchester clubs in cups, ending 0-10 overall. Pathetic.
As you can see, I played mostly 4-4-2, which seemed convenient to me, but defense was just awful. I had to change things around in the upcoming season, despite I was more than satisfied with the amount of goals we scored in the league.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we finished 7th that year, which led to our participation in Europa League
2nd season:

Some of the aspects of my tactics seemed screwed to me, so I finally decided to download tactics which I found here. I really enjoyed the game I set on my own, but my team could easily turn 3-0 with some Tottenham to 3-3, and it annoyed me a lot. None of such things happened in the new season with tactics above. And the squad was completely new this time.
- First of all, I managed to return Santon, who wanted to leave for Inter. This guy was the best player of the season. No words required.
- Tired of weak defenders, I've taken some severe measures - here came Subotic and Vermaelen, which were not so expensive, and the most helpful. Even despite Thomas got injured for half a year, ouch. But 2.5kk were worth it, I think.
- Romero from River was a great addition to the team either, no complaints.
- Got new players in the attack, like Aarons from the Academy, who surprised me the most and deserved his place in the starting XI for most of the season. Townsend and Jese were good as well, but no intention to sign them.
- Paolo Dybala is my most expensive player so far (30 million pounds). I was rather disappointed with him, especially compared to Perez, but he scored some really important goals and I hope to get much more from him in the future.
The season itself was the most satisfying. 4 points with Man City and Liverpool, 3 with Chelsea and Arsenal led to coming 4th in the league, with Liverpool left behind at the 5th place in the last matchday
Now, when you know my story, I hope you would give me some useful peace of advice in front of upcoming Champions League. If you have any questions, I'm free to answer
P.S. I'm very sorry for my poor english again, hope that wasn't a problem for you to read this all.
