Newcastle 3rd season

End of my second season of Newcastle. Need to improve my team/squad but don't know what positions and who? 1st season I finished 7th, securing Europa League and in my second season I finished 11th after mix results and got knocked out of the Europa League by Man Utd in the quarter final.

Team is:
GK - Rajkovic/Krul
RB - Janmaat
CB - Mammana/Coloccini
CB - Mbemba/Lascelles
LB - Augistinsson/Haidara
CM - Ward-Prowse/Lewis Cook/Tiote
CM - Romero/Reed/Colback
RW - Zivkovic/Siss
AM - Lincoln/Cabella
LW - Wijnaldum/Thauvin
AF - Perez/Mitrociv

Any recommendations for players I should buy/sell. I have a £40 mil budget.

To be fair that's a really good team you've assembled there. Im halfway through my first season and have signed zivkovic, mammana and meli from boca jnrs. The only thing id say would be to maybe change to a 433 with DM instead of a 4231? Can't seem to get 4231 to work in t his patch. Im 3rd in prem at moment so might be worth giving it a go. Signings wise I don't think you really need to do anything major, as I said you've got a cracking team there. Good luck mate.

I'd add another CB and RB at the very least. Enzo Roco is usually pretty affordable, gets a permit and is good. I picked him up for under 10M in my save between seasons 1 and 2. There's plenty of affordable RBs if you go looking in Spain or just want someone like Van Rhinj (who I replaced Janmaat with since Chelsea offered me 20M).

Zouma, if chelsea sucks, you can get him for 25 up forint and 25 after 50 games

What tactic you using for a 433? Couldn't get one to work well but managed to to with a 4231. Can't seem to attract anyone that will significantly improve my team so will stick with one I've got and just get a few squad players, cheers.
