Newcastle board takeover

I have a pretty good first season going on with newcastle, im 4th in the league.

There is a board takeover happening but its been happeing for 3/4 months, because of the transfer embargo i have missed out on players in the january window and i am missing out on good young players my scouts have discovered.

has anyone else had this problem and if so any idea when the takeover gets completed cos its doing my head in!

Not on this game, I did on FM07, during a net game, owners took over Preston and gave me the boot despite been 2nd in the championship, they wanted to install a new manager, some italian I recall, but yeah couldn't buy anyone the whole of the summer

I've had 1 with burnley it took them 5month i missd out on alot of youngsters i was well annoyed

they can be anoying but some times when they do finalise the takeover u can get a **** of a lot of money

Haha mine was pathetic it took nearly 2 years and I had won the league and the champions league and they give me 20 million to spend when it was over.

arrrrgh i had it with liverpool!
i saw about5-6 other takeovers happen but mine took around 5 months it was so aggravating!

In My Celtic Game At The Moment , Newcastle Got Taken Over By A Chinese Consortium ( I Think Thats How You Spell It ) And Got 145 Million To Spend And They Are Spending More Than Man City And They Bought Forlan For £26 Million ! And Sold Him To Barca 2 Years Later For £45 Million ! :-o

The takeover has happened! British based consortium has taken over...was a little worried cos they have links to Spain and were lining up Victor Fernandez for my job but my 5-0 win over Liverpool soon put that right! And they given me £90 to spend...its not a bad life!

only time i ever had a takeover it was few years ago it happened almost instantly, he was rich but the guy was a punk he really wanted me to spend some money, i thought i'd wait till the summer cause i already had a great squad then he went n waisted like 25mil on defoe when i already had vela/aguero/henry/adebayor or somethin.

You provide the money! I buy the players!!
