I have tried a few formations and still seem to lose or draw.. anyone know of a good formation to use or best one to download for newcastle utd in first season

I went with 4-3-2-1 in my first season.

Krul in goal obviously
Santon FB (Auto)
Taylor CD (Stopper)
Yang-Mbwia CD (Cover)
Debuchy FB (Auto)
Tiote BWM (Support)
Cabaye DLP (Defend)
Sissoko BBM (Support)
Ben Arfa AP or AM (Support)
Gouffran or Felipe Guitterez AM (Attack)
Cisse/Remy P (Attack)

I played it in a christmas tree formation with ben arfa and guitterez behind a poached (I sometimes played Gouffran as the poacher)

Fluid - Counter
High line with hassle apponents , run at defence , direct passing.

Subs
Anita
Colo
Elliott
Haidara

The team in general has high work rate and decent pace so base your tactic around those.

I won the league first season with the best defence but didnt score a huge amount of goals. Gouffran was top scorer with 12 !

Cisse , Remy and Cabaye got decent if not great ratings.

Second season Cabaye picked up playing as a BBM and Anita as the DLP. Cisse is hit and miss so you might need a goalscorer.

Try Jassar Midfield Maestro away tactic (4-1-4-1) it's the perfect tactic to start with NUFC as we only really have 1 real striker. All you need to do is get a good left winger. I signed Tom Ince for dirt cheap (around 6-7M) and he is awesome!

Nezza's tactic and Callamity's best work really well. I've been using the latter for 3 seasons, finished Top 3 each year. Only signing I made first year was Leandro Diamao
