Newcastle lone striker.

I am playing as Newcastle, with a 4-1-2-2-1 formation, I am using LFC Marshalls 24/8/2013 update, and I was wondering if anybody has any tips for a lone striker to buy in the jan window

Transfer budget: £12m

I brought Gary Hooper, but he doesnt seem to be firing for me. All my goals are coming from wingers and long shots. (Brian Ruiz is a god! always scores.)

Any help would be appreciated!!

What about Pappis Cisse or Loic?

but you can get:

Abel Hernandez - Palermo for just over £5m
Seydou Doumbia - CSKA around £12m
Fecundo Ferreyra - Shakthar (usually gets listed) £6m
Neal Maupay - Nice £2.5m
Kevin Volland - Hoffenheim around £14m pushing
Benteke - £16m if you can push it?

Benteke is a beast if you can sign him, he has scored 11 goals in 10 games for me

you have Cisse and Remy get Maupey for £2.5m or Libor Kozak £2 or loan for back up

Everyone who is saying about cisse, I would stick with him, but! he doesn't fire, in 15 games he has 3 goals with 4 assists.
