Newcastle United-Can the Magpies steal some silverware?

Today I have decided to give myself a challenge with Newcastle United. The challenge I have set myself is to win the premier league and champions league within four seasons. My aims are to go straight back up to the premiership first season, next avoid relegation, then qualify for champions leage and finally win the premiership and champions league, this won't be too easy....

Newcastle anounce 2 exciting signings
Yannick Djalo and Vincent Enyeama have just signed for Newcastle for fees thought to be around 900k and 250k.
I am delighted with these two signings. I am sure they will both settle into the team quickly and become key players. Also they are both young and I am sure they will provide great service for the club, not only now but for later years too.
Johnson is quoted saying this in a press conference with the two players.

August Results
West Brom 1-2 Newcastle Nolan, Ameobi
We got off to the best possible start when Nolan scored a wonderful curling goal from outside the area. We continued to create chances but could not finish them. At half time we went in one up and I told them not to get careless. They obviously didn't listen and conceded a goal early on. Just as I was getting worried sub Ameobi headed us home from a corner to take all the three points.
MOM Nolan 8.4

Newcastle 4-1 Reading Nolan 2, Jonas Ameobi
Another great performance from Nolan and the rest of the team. We were winning by four but conceded a goal late on.
MOM Nolan 8.7

Newcastle 3-1Sheff Wed Carroll, Djalo, Barton
Good win, particular highlight was Djalo scoring first goal for us, as was Barton's goal from which he made a wonderful run past three defenders before slotting it home. One slight concern for me is that we have conceded a goal every game we've played in, luckily we've scored quite a few so it hasn't mattered.... yet!
MOM Enrique 7.7

Crystal Palace 2-3 Newcastle Lovenkrands, Enrique, Barton
Great performance till the last ten minutes where a Barazite inspired comeback nearly costed us. Nevertheless our winning streak goes on.
MOM Enrique 7.7

Lincoln 0-4 Newcastle Jonas, Djalo, Routledge, Carroll (league cup)
Good showing against a weaker Lincoln team.
MOM Djalo 8.8

Newcastle 5-0 Leicester Barton, Routledge, Ameobi, Djalo 2
Superb result and superb performance created and scored goals, plus I kept a clean sheet. Great performance from Djalo 9.1 but still couldn't manage man of the match.
MOM Barton 9.2

Player of the Month
Kevin Nolan. Had a great month particularly his first few games and thoroughly deserves this award.

Review of the Month
All in all an impressive start to the season. I am delighted to have an 100% record and was honoured to be the manager of the month. Hopefully the lads work as hard as they did this month next month and we might still have our record intact.

I had my offer of 950k accepted and because lots of other teams wanted him, I offered him twenty something k a week when he'd asked for about ten which he accepted

cool i wish i would of tried that he would of fit in well in my birmingham team

really cool story, love the newspaper article idea ;]

Sorry forgot to mention I have also signed Marquinhos and Cathcart on loans

September Results

Cardiff 0-5 Newcastle Pancrate, Marshall OG, Djalo2, Marquinhos
Great result in a match we dominated.
MOM Djalo 9.0

Blackpool 1-2 Newcastle Djalo, Lovenkrands
Good finish from Djalo to give us the lead. Lovenkrands doubles it after he pounces on a rebound. They score late on through a swift counter attack but we hold on for the three points.
MOM Barton 7.6

Newcastle 2-1 Plymouth Ameobi 2
Plymouth take the lead when Mackie scores a flukey goal. Ameobi scores a good header to but us equalising going into half time. Game really opens up with six clear cut chances for us but finishing is really lacking, finally Ameobi runs onto a through ball before putting it in.
MOM Ameobi 8.9

Wigan 0-2 New Djalo, Routledge (League Cup)
A fantastic performance saw us run out comfortable winners against a Wigan side. Djalo beats the offside trap and finishers well to give us the lead early on. Wigan don't really pose us much of a threat and Routledge ensured the win with a late goal.
MOM Routledge 7.8

Ipswich 1-2 Newcastle Djalo2
Djalo finally puts us into the lead on the 36th minute with a quick counter attack. Djalo scored his tenth goal of the season in the 64th with a powerful finish from just inside the box. they score pen in last ten minutes but doesn't matter.
MOM Djalo 8.8

Review of the Month
Another perfect month sees us sit at the top of the table comfortably. Hopefully we can recreate our form this month into next month and have another perfect month.

Player of the Month
A great month for Djalo with 6 goals in 6 games, also he recorded his tenth goal of the season

Looks good mate,Djalo seems to be banging in the goals

Great start mate, keep that unbeaten run going and soon enough confidence in your squad will be so high it wont go down easily:D

October Results

Newcastle 3-0 QPR Cathcart 2, Wayne Routledge
Great dominating performance completely outclassed QPR.
MOM Cathcart 9.2

Newcastle 3-0 Bristol City Carroll 2, Jonas
Another three goal win, this time against the team third in the league. Team is really starting to look good and going unbeaten looks like a serious possibility.
MOM Jonas 8.9

Nottingham Forest 1-2 Newcastle Carroll, Djalo
Two well worked goals by Carroll and Djalo in return to an early Nottingham Forest goal, credit has to be given to Nottingham Forest though because they have probably been the hardest team yet.
MOM Jonas 8.0

Scunthorpe 2-1 Newcastle Carroll
Devastated about this result, our unbeaten run comes to an end! However we were missing Cathcart, Taylor and Collocini and Williamson and Hall both had poor games in the weak looking CB position. They were one nil up just before half time but Carroll equalised with the next kick of the game, but this was not enough and they scored a second in the second half
MOM Carroll 8.7

Newcastle 5-0 Doncaster Djalo, Marquinhos, Routledge, S Taylor, Lovenkrands
Fabulous bounce back from my team. I changed the 4-4-2 formation with two attacking wingers to a 4-2-3-1 which worked incredibly well.
MOM Marquinhos 9.3

(league cup 4th round) MK Dons 3-3 Newcastle p Djalo 2 Jonas
Less than convincing performance but it still books us a place in the quarter final against Bolton.
MOM Djalo 9.0

Player of the Month
This was a hard decision but I've given it to Jonas. Two MOM performances was enough to seal this for the winger.

Review of the Month
Losing the 100% record was obviously a disappointment but since then the team has played well in the 4-2-3-1 so I will use this for the rest of the season.
