So, this is my first post on FM-Base but have been a long-time reader. One of the issues I've been having with Football Manager 2013 is ensuring that young players develop to meet their maximum potential. I play exclusively as Newcastle United and, at present, I am using Raikan007's tactic (Might and Magic). I do, however, often fail to help young players meet their potential, even with giving them match experience.
The young players I look to develop most often are Remie Streete, Adam Campbell, Gael Bigirimana, Adryan and Wellington Nem. What recommendations would you have for developing these players? Should I keep them in the Reserves and then place them in first-team matches for games where an easy win is predicted or keep them in the First Team all the time? Should I be micro-managing training and, if so, is there a suitable guide or can people make recommendations about how to go about helping these players?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
