Newcastle United - The battle for glory

Hey guys, please excuse me as this is my first ever post on any FM forum.

I am currently under-going a season with Newcastle United as i thought maybe i would be one of the many managers to lead Newcastle to (hopefully) Champions League success.

I have already been through the transfer season.
Buying Roberto Stellone on a free transfer, waiting for Rune Almenning Jarstein (1.1m using the 48 month payment plan)
and Loaning: Federico Macheda, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey (3 mnth) and Emiliano Insua.
I have undergone few matches,
West Brom - 3 - 1 (Win)
Reading - 3 - 1 (Win)
Sheff Wed - 1 - 0 (Win)
Crystal Palace - 1 - 0 (Loss)
Hartlepool (League Cup 2nd Round) - 3 - 0 (Win)
Leicester - 1 - 0 (Win)
Cardiff - 3 - 0 (Loss)
Blackpool - 3 - 1 (Win)
Plymouth - 2 - 0 (Win)
Arsenal (League Cup 3rd Round) - 1 - 0 (Win)
Ipswich - 2 - 0 (Win)
Notts Forest - 3 - 2 (Loss)
Scunthorpe - 1 - 1
Doncaster - 2 - 0 (Win)
(Sorry about layout, as i previously said... new too this.)

My top players at the moment are:
Top Goalscorer - Shola Ameobi (10), Federico Macheda (6 )
Top Assists - Jonas (4),
MOM Awards - Shola Ameobi (3)
Yellow Cards - Steven Taylor (7)
Red Cards - Steven Taylor (1)
highest Rating - Shola Ameobi (7.36), Federico Macheda (7.06)


I will keep posted on more upcoming events and results.

i also forgot to mention i got Sol Campbell on free transfer. Which seems to be a good backup but nothing more.

I seriously doubt you got Insua and Ramsey on loan

You can get Insua but not sure about Ramsey. I get Insua every time but good luck and I will follow seeing as it is a Newcastle story! (H)

no it's alright in al honesty i was VERY shocked myself.

I haven't been replying due to my laptop being broke.
so with that i had to re-install Football Manager and i have lost my game save.

I did have Aaron Ramsey, but in all honesty, he wasn't too impressive. wouldn't really recommend him.

i have to start a new game now. Should i restart a newcastle save or start with a different team.

Since the new update its rather easy to get ramsey
