Will start a game with Newcastle, basically I have a plan with what players to sell/buy, but I am wondering you might done better than me, as I am targeting an Europa League at the end of the season. Also, what tactic?

EDIT: Meant to ask also who should I buy/sell in your opinion.

I started with a 4-4-2 but I think a 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1 would be best due to the extra man.
 
Daniel Sturridge on loan from Chelsea is a definate, Andreas Hinkel on a free, brilliant right back. Ive also bought in Andy King, Amr Zaki (only really needed if your going to play 4-4-2) and Marko Vejinovic from Heracles. Try and sell Guthrie, Smith (frees up wages) and Ambeobi. If you dont want Sturridge try for Kadlec.
 
Sturridge is a good loan buy! He scores loads of goals
 
Sturridge is good for Newcastle, I got him for my NUFC save. On my alternative Arsenal save i signed Kadlec due to RVP being injury prone as ****, and he's banging in goals with ease!
 
Cabaye is the star of the show! Ba and Collichini are awesome too. First season I bought in Jack Collison (trasfer), Wayne Bridge (loan), Sturridge (loan), Erick Torres (transfer for future!), Felipe Anderson (transfer for future), James McFadden (free). Play 4-5-1 with an anchor man and 2 attacking wingers. Qualified for Europa League first season and CL second season. If you get the option sell Smith, Ameobi, Hans Vukicec, Guthrie, Ryamn Taylor. Starting line up:

Santon
Colichini
Taylor
Bridge
Tiote
Collison
Cabaye
Guiterrez
Sturridge (or Ben Arfa when fit!)
Ba
 
in my newcastle save my formation is 3-2-3-2 its a real atacking formation witch i score a lot of goals
 
I won the league with Newcastle after 2 seasons, with a few good transfers and played a 4-2-3-1 formation, on fluid and control.

Sign Remi Johanson(sp) for MC Back up (about 1m? or less cant remember), Sturridge on loan, and bring in a left back.

At the end of the 1st season, check who is on the TL, as I finished third in my 1st season, I was able to pick up Essien for 4m, and look to pick up a more clinical striker than Ba, as he has the composure of a moth in the sun.

I am sure there are a few Newcastle guides around the forum, Stu has deffo written one.

Currently 5th in league after 24 matches..
bought Sigthorsson, Wilfried, Badelj, Sanogo, Kaoutari, Erick Torres (not joined yet)
