Newly Promoted to Premier Who to Buy?

I have just taken Cardiff to the Premier League but due to financial constraints I dont have the biggest of budgets... What players do you recommend for a newly promoted side?

Realistically need a playmaker, winger and strong defensive midfield player.
 
Playmaker- Tom Cleverley-Free,Beniot Pedretti,Fernando Gago.

Winger-Matt Phillips,Adam Johnstone,P.Sisto.Pavel Savitsky.

BWM- David Pavelka,Patric from Barca B retrain to DM/CM. C.Yacob

I bought Cleverley on a previous Newcastle save and he wasn't very good for me even 4th season in he hadnt really done much.
Adam Johnson might be a little too pricey anymore recommendations? Mahrez from Leicester?

I find Cleverley to be great on this game!
 
Vurnon Anita and Tiote are great CDMs

I doubt you'll be able to get him but try for Ben Arfa

Agreed on both of the above, but not sure on Ben Arfa, gave him a chance in my second season in my newcastle save, but he was too inconsistent. if not consistently poor!

1. Loan WILSON off UTD. Trust me he's a goal machine.
2. Anchorman: ADAM VASS (only 500k and is awesome) or look at AMARTEY
3. Winger 1: Nathan Redmond (use instalments) + Winger 2: Rotariu/Nicusor Stanciu/Hirving Lozano/Loan Adama Traore and or Bakkali
 
Sergi Roberto? I bought him for 2mil second season in my Torino save.

Try Thomas Partey from Atletico for a CDM, not sure how much they want but he's a beast
