No backroom advice? At all !

I'm playing a online/network game with my friend, he's the host.
When he asks for his staff too give him the backroom advice on the team, it works fine.
But when I try, the screen is just blank - like there is no advice. When I'm starting up a single player it works perfectly.
Can anyone help?

Does the menu bar appear as well?
If it does, there is nothing wrong with your game.

Please check the following:
- Do you actually have staff? They give you advices, check at your staff panel and make sure you have staff (assistant).
- How big is your squad? Fewer your squad (players), less advice you'd get.
- Check your backroom advice window and look at the right hand panel, it will show you how much knowledge your staff know about the squad. Lesser their knowledge, they would rarely give you advices or even incorrect advices.
- Still on your backroom advice window, there is 'Show Filters" on the upper right corner, make sure all boxes are ticked.
- Your team is currently in perfect condition, no advice to be given to you.

If you don't see any menu bar, there is something wrong with your game files, move your Football Manager somewhere as backup, and install the new one.
