( No ) Big Game Mentality?

Hi all, as you may have read in my thread in Players, I'm Atletico Madrid 2nd season in May, took over 2 months ago in March, and my team has been very poor against the bigger teams.

Atletico 1-1 Barcelona
Real 3-0 Atletico
Valencia 4-2 Atletico
Villareal 3-0 Atletico

Does anyone have any ideas why this is and/or what I could do to combat this?

Cheers, Asenjo joining at the end of the season. My assistant says I should play Seitaridis at Rb but I just dont rate him and also if I'm playing Ujfalusi and Perea I can switch them about at CB and RB.

I holiday'd until January 2nd season, then Atletico were first to offer me a job, which was in March, so I haven't had a transfer window. But Edu, Asenjo, a few Brazil wonderkids and a couple of others are joining. A few squad players are offski. Also, I had about £20M for transfer and was £120K so not to bad.

Aguero was excellent for and Keirrison is at Man. City.
