No Playing history showing for a created manager

I have created a new manager to take over a rival team and created his playing history at Boca and swansea 1993-2013 and included the achievements he would have obtained at those clubs, however when i start the game up it shows no playing history for him?

Is there something else i need to do in order for this to be shown on his profile?
