No young players in game

I am in 2017

I have a aging squad with man united,and i cant find any good players to invest in,no decent regens

i have the large data base with 17 different leagues,but still no joy,do i start again?

people say use genie scout( what is that)?

Get scouts with good "Working with Youngster" and "Judging Player Potential" stats, and get them to scout the various under 18/19 leagues.

And check out who the top performers in the other leagues are. Some 20 year old kid who has scored 15 goals for a bottom half team in Serie A could very well be a superstar in a few years.
