No Youth Tab

Hey,

Im currently playing in the Australian A-league with Melbourne Heart, and i just got to the second season. I recieved an intake of youth players, yet i wasnt asked to enter a youth team into youth league, nor is there a youth tab.

Any ideas how to create that tab? and how to enter a team into the Australia youth league?

I'm not sure. But last year I created an extended A-league (probably going to make one for FM11 eventually) and a couple of the teams had their youth teams disabled in the editor, so I enabled them.
I'm not sure why SI did this. While they may not have youth teams right now, the will in a season or two. You might just have to go into the editor and enable MH's youth team.
 
Oh kewl, altho, wil that mean that i needa start again lol

How exactly to you enable Youth Teams in the editor, im not quite sure how.

Sure no problem.

1. Load the database - I'm guessing you got that far :P
2. In the side panel go 'Database', and then in the panel below 'Clubs'
3. Search for 'Melbourne Heart'
4. Open the record - go 'Competitions'
5. Untick 'Has no youth fixtures'
6. Save

Now when you start a new game you will be given the option to load your new DB.
 
Hrmm still didnt seem to work for me, i unchecked that box and yet there is no youth tab.

I also skipped ahead to season 2 to see if 1. it would grab an intake of youth players. and 2. if it would ask if i would like to enter a youth team into the league.
It grabbed the youth players, but didnt ask to enter a youth team.

Any ideas?
 
melbourne heart do not have a youth team, since they only came into the league this year. They will more than likely have one next year, hence why it isn't in the game
 
Ya, thats obvious -_-
But FM obviously didnt implement a youth team for them in year 2.

Hence the thread spazcakes
