Hello, my name is Mike and I recently purchased FM2010. I started off as Arsenal and after a season I had finished 3rd in Premier League and had got to a Champions League Semi Final. I decided I wanted a challenge so I chose Norwich City in League 1. My aims are :
Season 1 : Promotion to Championship
Season 2 : Steady myself in the Championship
Season 3 : Promotion to Premiership
Season 4 : Establish myself in the Premiership
Season 5 : European Football
I decided to look at the free transfers to see which players I could buy. I signed Tommy Mooney, Rueben Reid and a few other players to boost my squad. Also I had Mark Viduka on trial before he decided to sign for Ipswich. Pre Season went well with the following results happening:
King's Lynn 0-6 Norwich
Lowestoft 0-3 Norwich
Norwich 2-1 Wigan
Norwich 0-2 Man City
Norwich 4-3 Birmingham
Dercham 0-3 Norwich
I was extremely pleased about these results especially the big Premier League scalps. They both played strong sides but Viduka absolutely demolished them. Also when I played Man City they fieled their first team.
Next up was the parent club, I asked the board to find me one and they came back with the following options:
Chelsea
Man City
West Ham
I chose Chelsea as when I looked at their Youth/Reserves and they had exciting young prospects.

Norwich 0-0 Wigan (AET : 4-5 Penalties)
Holt Missed, Mooney Scored, Hoolahlan Scored, Whaley Scored, Tudor-Jones Scored
I was pleased with these results and the most prolific players were Tudor Jones and Russell. I was pleased about the Wigan game as they played a fairly strong side and we took them all the way. I currently lie 3rd in League 1 aswell.
