Have just been asked to submit my squad for Champs League with Liverpool and Ive only got 7 home grown players, now i cant proceed!?!? any ideas?

U 18?

Reserves?

if you can't continue the game and you have not home-grown talent, go on holiday (i don't know if this will work) or edit 1 player to be home grown, try to choose a reserve player for this, you don't want Fernando Torres playing for England in the World Cup

Get some homegrown in!! Keep it english when I get hold of a great club I'll be looking to the under 21's of England to produce my squad.

sometimes if i cant submit a squad i just go on holiday to the next day and let my assistant sort it lol :-$

the best thing to do is to just take a holiday

BUT, save the game before that

One time my asisstant manager didn't choose Balotelli, Marquinhos, Akinfeev, Fazio and Veloso.

I wanted to kill him, so i sacked him and get Massimo Neri

pick the squad you want. go on holiday for one day and the squad you choose is the squad you will progress with.

Best way to get home grown quality players is by signing 3-4 potential stars aged 17/18 and in 3 years they will become home grown.

(Zuculini, Fleck, Aquino, Laurito, Santon, Mattock etc)

Slap your forehead whilst saying "D'oh!" and start a new game!

I imagine if you didn't select the maximum amount of players and you don't have enough in your reserves, then the extra places will be filled in by shaded hg players once you come around to the game.

If you only need 1 more home grown player you can only select 2 and the 1 player you havnt selected counts as a homegrown. If you are 2 short only select 23. And so on...
