not finishing teams off

just finished my first season with preston, finished 1 point outside of the play-offs. i know exactly my problem, not being able to finish a team off. it was rediculous how many times i had taken the lead, away from home, and let it slip. i lost 17 games all season, only 3 at home, and these were against forest (promoted), west brom and middlesbrough (both play-off teams)

my home form is always near the best in the league.

my away form is all that stops me from getting promoted, all because i cant finish a team off!

Well when leading away by say 2 goals change to contain or defensive once you are 2-0 you dont need to get more goals

thing is, i can never have a score like that playing away, if im winning, its always by 1 goal :/

Well when you do go 1 up in that case go to contain then and put time wasting up a little
