not happy with Portsmouth!

decided to start a game with Portsmouth, try and save them and all that.

consortium is trying to buy the club, transfer embargo while that is happening, which is ok because of the lack of money anyway.

what is shocking is the consortium has announced that i'll be replaced if they get the club!

havent even played a league game yet, devastating.
 
That's FM for ya bud :], if you haven't saved it just go back to the start again? Otherwise you'll be looking in the jobs section :]
 
Is it that Villenvue (or however it's spelt) guy? Don't worry, you keep the job.
 
Yeah if its Villenevue you should keep your job. I won 2 of my first 4 games and he let me stay in. The replacement thing is just kind of a rumor designed, i guess, to try and offput you
 
ah thats cool, it wasnt him who took over but apparently i was allowed to keep my job because of an outpouring of public support....

not going great though, mainly because of how the administrators sold nearly all of my defenders -__-
 
Yeah, it's usually just a rumour.. I had it at Rangers when I was taken over and they ended up saying I can keep my job because of the massive support shown or some BS. I hadn't even been in charge of a competitive game.. lol.
 
Yeah they don't sack you. Also your not able to get anyone till February time. Its a hard game but good.
 
I picked Portsmouth and they said they were gonna replace me with a coach at the club if the deal went through. I sacked that coach and remained manager. Try that ;)
 
I've just got into the league cup final on my save!! haha, and yeh, you have to wait AGES to buy players becuse the max wage you can offer is *Drum roll* £90 :P

Yeah I won the FA cup first season as well, finished near the bottom of the league though. Loads of youths were playing as deals couldnt be rejected!
