Not Responding. grrrr.

Hey guys,

I've searched the forums over this highly annoying problem i have with both, this Football Manager (2010) and the previous one.. The problem is simply that when the game is at its peak of performance.. (such as going on holiday). The game simply stops, turns into a black screen, it says that its not responding. Then, i click it again. It will turn into a white screen, with my mouse going it a loading sign. It will be on the white screen for about 5-10 seconds. Then will go back to my original state. Like, the holiday screen for example.

Has anyone else faced this problem? It's so annoying when i'm playing it. Then it keeps doing this. It may be something to do with a technical issue. I'm on a HP labtop. And i brought the game via Steam. Should i change any settings? Or does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

Please comment back if you do. It's getting worse. :/
