Hey, when i scout for some young talents, someone have 4,5 out of 5 stars.
But when i have bought him, and then one year after. He is only having 2,5 or 3 stars out of 5?

How can it happen?

I would leave it for longer than a year mate, some players take a few seasons to settle. But some players just dont match the potential they were showing, thats football i'm afraid.

It depends how rapidly your club is getting bigger as well, afaik Stars are based on the reputation of your club. I.e if you're in L2, someone with 5 star PA could only be 2 stars by the time you hit the EPL because of the club/ league reputation, 5 star PA for L2 could be a PA of like 120 which wouldn't be very good for the EPL

The initial 5 star rating may have come from a poor scout.

Remember that a staff members advice can only be as good as his attributes, poor scout = poor, inaccurate reccomendations.

Okay, thanks for your answers, i understand it now :)

Thank you very much

The scouts are often not far off..... Its up to you to put them on the right training schedule.

as well as having poor scouts with low judging potential ability and current ability you could also have an assistant manager/first team coach who also has low PA and CA attributes that could give a false indecation about the ability of the player. The reptation and goals for the season could also have an effect on the rating of the player.
