Welcome.
As some of you may of heard that Gibraltar are the 54th member or UEFA and this means starting of the 2014/15 season that the clubs in Gibraltar and they're national team can participate in UEFA competitions!
I have made a database so I can play as teams from this country!

So I will be taking over Manchester United..

Here is a brief description of the club!

'Manchester F.C. was founded in 1957, and were named after the famous English side by a group of supporters after manager Matt Busby gave the club permission to use their name. They play in the Gibraltar Football League's First Division. United play their home games in the Victoria Stadium. In 2013, UEFA gave the Gibraltar Football League one place each in the qualifying rounds of both the Europa League and the Champions League, meaning that, for the first time, the two clubs could potentially meet in the same competition'

I will be doing season reviews ONLY on this story as my aim is to make them a worldwide European side! And less posts will mean that the story with get on quicker!

I will be back with the first season review of our Gibraltan adventure and we will see if we have the potential of a future European side.

First season post will be up tomorrow!

2013/2014 Season Review

Welcome back!
It has been a memorable year! We won the Gibraltar Premier League and became the first ever club from Gibraltar to participate in the UEFA Champions League!

These was our upcoming league fixtures for the season! It is a very short season as we only play 14 league games!

The Gibraltarian Divisional Cup didn't go our way! Getting knocked out in the Second Round but Wanderers (GIB) came out victorious after beating Lions Pilots in the final

We also got knocked out in the second round of the Gibraltarian Rock Cup! But the winners was Laguna

So these was all of our results for the season! You may think is was pretty poor.. But then the football in Gibraltar is not as good as we would like it to be! But thats why I am here! But we did win the league so this is a good start!

We also got out Youth Intake! Which is always nice! And I'm hoping that from the money we get from the Champions League over the next 3 years can help me upgrade the clubs facilities and turn us Semi Pro so we can start making steps the becoming one of the greatest sides the world has ever known!


So I will be back with a post hopefully later on today.. And the post will be a Champions League Special and I hope we can get past the 1st Qualifying Round which would be great. I did forget to take a screenshot of the league table but I will post them next time.

Champions League Qualifiers 2014/15

Welcome back, after our league triumph last season we qualified the the Champions League, we had some qualifiers to play!

We got drew against Faroese Champions HB! Hopefully we can possibly get a result against them!

1st Qual Round

So our first leg match came out as a 2-2 draw, us being the more dominant side but it only made out to be a draw!

And then our second leg result we had won 6-3 away to HB and won 8-5 on agg! And we qualify for the next round!


2nd Qual Round

We got drawn a very tough tie against Legia of Poland..

In the first leg we lost 8-1.. It was obvious a result like this was going to happen. I'm just happy we beat expectations and qualified for this round!

We then played them away and lost 8-1 again making it 16-2 on aggregate


Apart from this there was some very big positives and a financial boost!

We got given around 400k for playing in the champions league which has boosted our financial state by miles and are by far the richest club in Gibraltar right now!

Firstly I did request the board for Youth Facilities to be upgraded but they did not want that, I did leak it to the press and hoping they would let me but they didn't.
Although the board did let the training facilities to be upgraded to help players reach there potential!

Will be back soon with a 2014/15 season review!​
 
Good news, as all the teams in Gibraltar play at the same stadium the Victoria Stadium the board have agreed to build a new stadium for Manchester United :)
 
This is awesome, loving reading it so far. I always love stories with low reputation moving up.
 
I was going to start a save like this! Good luck, I think there is a Newcastle United side in Gilbraltar I can use. Also, Chelsea are there I think as well.
 
Season Review 2014/15 And 2015/2016 Champions League Qualifiers

Welcome back everyone! Its been a good year for the club as we won the league again! Although we had disappointing results in the cup again as you will see! And the club are moving up the European club rankings really fast although I can't remember where we are and I should of took a screen shot :( ;)

So we did have such a poor start to the season.. But when it got to the last 6 games when we was 7th in the league only one place from bottom, I had a team meeting and it seemed to work as we won all last six which was great :)

The league table ended up like this, with us winning 8 out of the 14 games and becoming champions for the second time in a row! And Lions Gibraltar getting relegated!

The league is also moving up in European competition rankings which is such a good sign!

We got drew against Welsh champions TNS.. A hard tie in my books and I thought we would get knocked out!

We did get knocked out but I must say we did try our best, and the club is improving bit by bit


The training facilities and Youth facilities have been upgraded and im hoping to upgrade them more soon, and planning for a new stadium has been complete we just need more money for that to be fully complete, so we have to rely on the champions league to eventually improve our club using the prize money!
