I decided to start a game as Notts Co. manager after i had a very successful Newcastle game where i finished 2nd in premier league after 3 seasons.
I thought i would give them a go and see how i would perform in the lowest league i have been involved in - League 2.
I decided that for me to become successful at Notts Co. I would have to -
*Gain Premier league status in 5 years
*Gain Managerial reputation of National within 3 years
*Build new facilities and a stadium (if not build upon Meadow Lane) within 2 years
I have go rid of all deadwood (which is basically all backroom staff except Tord Grip and all playing staff except Kasper Schmichel, Lee Hughes and Ben Davies.) As there was many departures obviously there would need to be many arrivals.
A few off the top of my head are Amr Zaki, Simone Jackson, Carl Ikeme, Pat Baldwin, Jean Joel Perrier-Doumbe, Lewis Mcgugan (there are alot more and will post screenshots at a later date)
I have bought Les Reed in as my no. 2 for his tactical knowledge whenever i need it and have also got a selection of coaches in to train players in certain areas(screenshots will follow). i have managed to bring in Gary lewin as club physio after he declared his interest in the position. i have also got 7 scouts looking over the British isles and France, hoping to find the up and coming players for the future as well as gems in the lower leagues.
I have 5 friendlies lined up before 2 title chasers meet at Meadow Lane on the 1st day of the season when Notts Co. host Bradford City.
I will keep all posted on how my challenge is going and screenshots will be added asap!
