Hello, firstly i'd like to apologise about the thread thats been deleted which was down to my fault. Never leave your PC on with a spiteful brother around.

I had to start my Notts County FM game again! Sadly.

Today Skysports revealed the new Manager of Notts County Football his name is Jamie King. His experience is limited and his ability is unknown. Does Sven know what he's doing? Only time will tell. Manager Jamie King had this to say in his very first speech courtesy of Skysports.

"Im delighted about being the new manager of Notts County football club, it's a dream come true. Last week i was managing a sunday league team. Now im managing Notts County Football club the oldest league club in England.

There you go lads, updated. Once again sorry about having to start the game again, Somehow i dont think i'll beat Bradford 5-0 again at the start.

Overall. Im even more happy with my squad aswell as staff its an even bigger improvement than before which is obviously good news. I'll post my pre season games up later on and i'll start the season tomorrow meanwhile enjoy reading this first post.

Notts County in August
​

Game 1: Notts County v Bradford City

Good first win for Notts, disappointed i conceded so early, never the less Martin and Doudin got me the win. 3 points!



Game 2: Notts County v Preston North End

Incredible win in the Carling Cup 1st round. I thought it was all over when Davies got sent off but i held on. 2nd round here i come.



Game 3: Macclesfield Town v Notts County

Disappointed with this result, i seem to be conceding every game. I think i need to tighten the defence up. 1 point!



Game 4: Chesterfield v Notts County

A great game for any neutral this one. It was 2-2 at one point but Mifsud and Rankin did the honours. 3 points!



Game 5: Notts County v Dagenham & Redbridge

Dagenham started of well sitting in 2nd place in the league and knocking out West Brom away in the Carling Cup. Happy with the result. 3 points!



Game 6: Westham v Notts County

Probably the best game i've witnessed so far on FM 2010, incredible result. Dont you think? 3rd round here i come.



Games 7: Barnet v Notts County

Angry at this result to lose in the 91st minute. That is all. 0 points!



Overall: Very happy this month. 10 points, 5th in the league and in the 3rd round against Wigan at Medow Lane.​

​

Game 7: Notts County v Northampton

A good win with Mifsud on song, 3 points!




Game 8: Notts County v Burton

Zaki gets his first goal for Notts County, hopefully 1 of many, 3 points!




Game 9: Morecambe v Notts County

A solid win away from home, very happy with the scoreline. 3 points!




Game 10: Notts County v Wigan

Verry happy a kept it at 0-0 untill the 105th minute, Damia teased my defence all game. I guess this game proves why Wigan are in the Prem and Notts are in League Two. One day the teams will meet again. In the league!




Game 11: Notts County v Port Vale

The Port Vale keeper was on form today, kept Mifsud and Zaki out nearlly all game. Im happy with a point.





Game 12: Lincoln City v Notts County

Emphatic win for the Magpies in this localish encounter.

​

Game 13: Cheltenham v Notts County

A very good win for Notts away from home, Chelts can be a hard place to go, Zaki got his Hatrick. 3 points!




Game 14: Notts County v Walsall

The JPT, not really bothered that i lost this. I've got more chance of winning it once i get promotion to league two so im not too bothered about it.




Game 15: Notts County v Torquay

Another great win, 3 fringer strikers got on the scoreline. I really dont know who to play up front. 3 points!




Game 16: Rotherham v Notts County

The game where nothing went my way. Apart from the own goal and the red card but after that i couldnt do anything! 0 points!




Game 17: Notts County v Crewe

A great win, the strike force that is Zaki and Mifsud are playing well together. 3 points!




Game 18: Notts County v Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury gave me a early scare, Mifsud managed to break through and save me from losing 3 points. 1 point!

Overall: Im not worried that im second but after this month i think i need a CB to play with Martis. Izzy just isnt consistant enough so i'll be on the market for a commanding center back in January.

Game 19: Oxford United v Notts County

The FA CUP!! What more can you can about it? Oxford was always going to give a league club a good go especially at home. I managed to brush them aside though. 2nd round here i come!




Game 20: Bury v Notts County

Always a tough place to go Bury is, i thought i had 3 points untill Ryan Lowe equalised on 89th minute. 1 point!




Game 21: Notts County v Aldershot

Aldershot gave me a early scare by scoring first. 2 goals in 8 minutes secured a win. 3 points!




Game 22: Rochdale v Notts County

A good win away with a Zaki goal got me the win! 3 points!




Game 23: Barrow v Notts County

The magic of the FA Cup nearlly happened here with Barrow taking the lead. 3rd round here i come.

Comfortable win in the end away from home. 3 points!

Another great win and a clean sheet. 3 points!

Emphatic win over Bournemouth, Yet to concede a goal this month!, 3 points!

No idea what happened here, everything just fell apart and they destroyed my defence. 0 points!

You dont actually get the 10+ million to spend on players though, thats just been injected into the club finances not transfer revenue so i dont know how you ended up getting that money?

Also can I ask you why you released so many players who mostly are part of Countys actual first team?

Im suprised it didnt take ages for your team to gel and play well with all the ins and outs

BTW Lee Hughes and Craig Westcarr are goal machines in league 2, Ben Davies is probabley the best player in the league and Carsten Jancker is a brilliant target man for lower league teams and scores important goals

J Jackson is a good player upto championship level too
