Well after reading a few threads on here and my Gretna save getting a bit boring, I decided to have a small break from it and start a new game as Notts County!
Breaking news!!!
Notts County's new director of football and ex England manager, Sven Goran Eriksson has decided to appoint an unknown young scouse fella Ben Worthington as manager. Ben had a short career in football and has still only 33 so has not exactly got a wealth of experience.
Playing career:
1994-1995: Liverpool 0 apps, 0 goals
1995-1996: Liverpool 0 apps, 0 goals
1996-1997: Tranmere 9 apps, 3 goals
1997-1998: Tranmere 21 apps, 9 goals
1998-1999: Tranmere 33 apps, 7 goals
1999-2000: Tranmere 9 apps, 1 goal
2000-2001: Wrexham 39 apps, 17 goals
2001-2002: Wrexham 20 apps, 6 goals
2002-2003: Wrexham 3 apps, 2 goals
Total: 134 apps, 45 goals
A decent scoring record which was inconsistent due to injury which effectively ended Ben's career at the age of 27 unfortunately. A good quality all round striker. Then at 28 he did his coaching badges and when 29 he became manager of Prescot Cables getting 2 promotions in 3 years there. After resigning and having a years break he was faxed by Mr Erikkson of Notts County asking him to take up the managers role at County. At first he thought it was a joke and had to phone Sven to make sure it was serious. After checking that it was actually Serious Ben gladly accepted the job offer.
Updates tomorrow!!! Feel free to comment
