I just had a look at the forgotten man, He has some good stats and I reckon you could get him cheap.

The oldies always have a part to play in a season. Beattie for me just scored the winner against Newcastle in 2012.

beckham is all i can say. i bought him back home to old trafford and hes sensational, still going strong at 39 years old!!! his pace and accelerationa re both 1, but his player instructions basically equate to ''stand still and cross it'' and hes the perfect player for that job, first touch, passing,. technique, creativity, crossing are all 20
