Number of coaches or physios reduced after owner accepted my request to increase it?

This is not the first time that I ran into this issue with FM20, where number of coaches or physios has been reduced according to message I received in my inbox moments after the owner of my team (Arsenal in 2nd season) accepted my request to increase the number of coaches or physios.

Instead of granting me another space or two to hire more staff members, the number of current staff members remains the same, but according to that message I received in inbox it should have been reduced by one or two spots.

Is this a known issue?

I have a bug where my Reserve/U23 team are stuck on 3 coaches and 1 physio. I've requested more about 5 times, and the board agrees - but it just never actually works.
I've posted this in the SI forums bugs page, and SI have confirmed it is a known bug.

I know its not exactly what you've described, but its quite close.
