Offering a Player to other teams.

In FM09, when offering a player for transfer or loan. Is it still possible to offer a player, to a specific team or teams?

Or is the box "not to rival teams" the only option?

i dont think so but u can reject all the offers but the one made by that team u wanted to offer the guy

I hate it when I offer a player to all teams (an example lets say Shola Ameobi) I offer him for 0, and not one club is ever interested.
Surely some championship clubs would brake the bank balance for Shola and put a 0 bid in for him

Yeah I suppose its his wages that play a part then.?

Thats a nightmare when you just want to get rid of a player

Being a Newcastle fan I can understand why free is still too much for Ameobi!!!!

That sucks tbh.. But I'm still playing around with a few clubs.

At Man City, one player I got rid of was Benjani. But had to pay a certain percentage of his wages that he would of earned at MC, to do so.
