offering contract issue

evening all,

just wanted to ask if anyone else is having problem offering contract.

I am trying to offer a contract to a player but cant offer more that about 10k pw although i have 83k pw free.

it also happens if i try and load a player it wil not let me offer any wages!!

Player salaries are limited by the boardroom. They will only allow you to offer so much for a player with a particular team status. Try changing the players status from 'backup/rotation/whatever' to 'first team/ key player' and see if you can offer more.

thanks tried that and still cant offer any more when set on key player!!

Could also try and adjust your wage/transfer budget? One way I have found of keeping the actual wages side of things down is to use the little "lock" icon next to the wages and see if they will suggest other incentives to sign - this has worked a few times for me.

I dont know what the problem was but after restarting fm12 this morning all was back to normal.
