Hey guys,

I've just started a Journeyman career at Witbank Spurs in South Africa. It's currently August 2013, and I have around 17 players who have their contracts running out in July 2014. I was wondering when is a good time to renew the contracts of the players I want to keep?

I don't want to renew them just yet, as it's still preseason and I haven't had long enough to decide who I want to keep/move on.

Would it make sense to take a look at their contracts in January after playing some of the season? Or could there be any negative effect leaving it until then?

Cheers :)

It's really down to your own preference. I consider A. there age B. there position and role C. there stats and what the assistant reports say.

Thanks THFC, i'll bare that in mind. I think i'll give it a month or so, see who's performing well and take that into account as well.
