Breaking News

Everton have been bought over by a mega-rich oil tycoon from the far east named Sheik Al-Sadd who is believed to be as rich as the current Manchester City owners. When asked what his plans were for the club he replied with the simple answer of "League Glory". He stated that he wanted the club to be the Manchester City of Liverpool and turn Liverpool blue just as City where doing in Manchester. The future now looks bright for the Everton faithful who for many years now have had to get by with very few big signings and no budget whatsoever, Al-Sadd also stated that there would be no drastic changes in mangement as they believe David Moyes has done a great job with limited finances in the past and should do great with large sums of money.

One question remains though and that is wither Everton can actually pull off what Manchester City and Roberto Mancini have achieved and that is to win the Premier League and get one over on neighbours Liverpool and the rest of the Barclays Premier League!

YES!!!! I support Everton, so great 2 see a story with them XD

Good luck dude. I'm doing an Everton story aswell so I'll be following to see how you do :)

Walter Montillo from Cruzeiro - £15.25m

Great first signing of the new Everton era for David Moyes as he brings in 27 yearold Argentinian midfielder to Goodison. This brings more attacking flair to the team and also means that more chances will be created!

View attachment 269068
Gokhan Gonul from Fenerbache - £13m

David Moyes brings in 26 year old Turkish international Gonul to the team to add some strength and quality to the back line which many believe to be a fantastic investment for the club.

View attachment 269069

Moussa Dembele from Fulham - £9.75m

With the addition of Montillo, Moyes obviously thought he needed to bolster his strike force even more and with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal after Dembele it was a shock that he picked the new Everton era over European football. This now means that Moyes has the likes of Dembele, Jelavic and Gueye to pick from upfront.

David Murphy from Birmingham - £1.9m
Nott he biggest of signings for Moyes but Murphy has 2 years Premier League experience for Birmingham and for £1.9m will make for great cover when Leighton Baines is not available. Murphy can also feature on the Left side of midfield which is probably another reason Moyes has decided to sign the 27 year old.

Mixed month for Everton and David Moyes, opened the season with a 3-1 defeat at home to West Brom with Dembele scoring on his debut which brought some positives from this defeat. They made up for this defeat with a cagey 1-0 win over Wigan which should have been 3 or 4 but the single goal from Tim Cahill secured Everton 3 points. Moyes featured a second team for the game in the Capitol One cup for the game against Stevenage as many thought it would be a straightforward game but the goals from Darron Gibson and Dennis Stracqualursi were not enough and Everton where knocked out on penalties. The month ended with a home win over a tough Stoke side and the 2nd Everton goal for Dembele added to by the returning Distin secured the win for the Toffees.

I'll take a wild guess and say you've not updated your game at all?

As Everton wouldn't have Cahill or Rodwell if you were going by latest updates.

not everyone uses updates mate, he is clearly on the official patch!

this is the first time I have used an unofficial update since playing FM, which has been many years :) using LFC Marshalls one!

Updates messed up my last laptop and game so I wouldn't waste my time using them again. I never knew it was a problem to use the official patch "/

The month started well for Everton because 9 minutes into the game at the Etihad Everton took the lead through a Fellaini goal and it looked like the Mersyside club were going to get one over on their Mega money rivals but after half time City came out and dominated and in the process scored two goals to kill off the Toffees. The Toffees then had another hard game with Arsenal making the trip to Goodison to take on newly rich Everton but in the end it was Everton who walked away with all 3 points with goals from Cahill in the first half and then a last minute goal from Rodwell killed the Gunners off. The last game of the month saw Everton travel to Ewood Park to face relegation threatened Blackburn, but Everton’s bad away record continued as they failed to score past a shaky defence and a team they totally dominated.

A bad month which sees David Moyes future at Everton in doubt because current owner Al-Sadd has announced he expected the team to be doing a lot better by this point. Everton had a good 2 minutes in the home game against Chelsea when Montillo gave them an early lead but after this everything went bad for the home side as they went 4-1 down to Chelsea and a last minute goal by Cahill was just to make the score a bit more respectable. Everton then travelled to the Liberty Stadium to see off they could help their current away form and they done so with an impressive 3-0 win over Swansea with 2 goals coming from Stracqualursi who was standing in for the injured Jelavic and Dembele. The injuries of Gokhan Gonul and Dembele have made Everton struggle as of late and the 2-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa was just proof of that as they dominated and just could not finish. The month ended with a trip to St James’s Park to play relegation threatened Newcastle but Everton looked like the bottom half of the table side as they struggled and only secured a draw with the Toon Army.

League Position - 9th (14 Points)

Player of the Month

Montillo had a lot of impressive performances over the month with Everton and scoring goals against Chelsea and Aston Villa along the way helped his case for the month.

With the likes of Dembele and Gonul still injured this was always going to be a hard month for the Toffees because they are without two of the top players in the team. The month started well though, even without the help from Howard in nets who was replaced by Mucha, Everton started the month well though with a hard fought away victory over Norwich which set them on the way to a good month. Everton then had a home visit from Fulham and looked to try and find their home form again after a few disappointing results as of late at Goodison Park and they done so with goals from Montillo and off the bench striker Stracqualursi. Everton ended the month with a trip to one of the toughest grounds in the league to face Wolves and their day was ruined when midfielder Darron Gibson was sent off to reduce them to 10 men and with a penalty from Jelavic they could not pull of the win and in the end they ended the month with 2 wins and a defeat.

League Position – 8th (20 Points)

Player of the Month

Fellaini is Everton’s player of the month for November with a goal and 2 MOTM performances in the two wins against both Norwich and Fulham he was the real difference maker during the month.

A terrible month for The Toffees with 1 win, 2 Draws and 3 Defeats on the table the owner Al-Sadd has set more pressure on the head of manager David Moyes saying he has less time to get things right and bring better players in on January. The month started with a 2-0 defeat to the 19 time league winners Manchester United where the team was dominated for the majority of the game. Everton then travelled to London to face Spurs at White Hart Lane and the game was back and forth but no goals came from this game and that was more to the fact that Everton were still without their £9.75m signing Moussa Dembele who was still injured. Everton’s first goals came from another game in London this time against QPR with goals from Fellaini and Stracqualursi but the game ended with a draw as QPR managed to score twice in the game. Everton’s next game saw them take a trip home to Goodison Park to take on Bolton and this was a game that many of people were expecting them to win but Bolton had other ideas with them securing a 2-1 and Everton’s goal coming from Montillo. The next game in line for The Toffees was the Merseyside Derby against Liverpool, Blue vs Red and many people at this point of the season were expecting Everton to be doing a lot better than Liverpool but that wasn’t the case with Liverpool in 8th and Everton in 10th, the only goal of the game for Everton came from Montillo as they were beaten 2-1 by The Reds. The last game of the month saw them make a trip to Sunderland with David Moyes job pretty much in doubt if they didn’t secure a win but in the end they managed one with a 2-1 win over Sunderland and both goals coming from Player of the Month Walter Montillo. (NOTE: Moussa Dembele was injured AGAIN in the Merseyside Derby)

League Position – 10th(25 Points)

Player of the Month

Player of the Month undoubtedly goes to Walter Montillo, in which was a very bad month for the Toffees who secured 5 points out of a possible 15. Montillo hit 4 goals an assist and 2 MOTM performances which is great for the Argentinian Playmaker.
