i have played fm 2014 for hour upon hopur without success,can anybody help me.its tactics,they drive me mad.i have been using mainly default,and some downloads for just about every team in the uk.my question is,should you change tactics regularly,stick with just one.use a different one for home and away.put playes in the position advised to use their best ability.also how do you find good players available for loan,i can only find 2 to 3 star.i am 62 this year would like to win something before time runs out.bit like moyes i suppose.

Hahah Well first choose a decent team. E.g Manchester United. Don't keep changing tactics and don't over think things. My advice would be -

4 flat defenders -2 centre mids - 2 wingers - one central attacking mid - one striker

Instructions - Play ball from the back, play in to space, hassle opponents, stay on your feet, exploit the flanks

Right and left backs - support
Centre mids, one ball playing (Carrick) one ball winning or box to box (Felliani)
Wingers - I have one set to support, one set to attack.
AMC Mata or Rooney
Striker Rooney or RVP

Pre season set the training to Tactics until the bar is full (it will be in to the season by the time this happens) then change to team cohesion

For harder teams maybe replace the AMC with a DMC and play counter.

(I won almost everything I could first season with something similar to this. I was knocked out of the champions league on away goals though . I sold RVP and Valencia, bought Ayew and Farfan)

Keep it simple like a 4-4-2 do not change player settings untill winning with formation make sure your team is fluid in tactic do not sell or buy to meny players at any one time but always buy the best for position when you can,depending on team or your own scouting.
