I'm thinking about starting a challenge i remember being attempted before: Conquering the game with oldies. But I am at a loss for what age my minimum should be. Any suggestions? Vote in the pole as well and give reason down here if necessary

You should do 31 as it is an oldies game...

I did something like this on FM09 and I did minimum 31, I was fairly successful in that one. So you should be even better with the likes of Drogba being available for it now.

30 isn't old, people play until they are 34-35'ish a lot of the time.

33+ would be a good theme.

i think 32 + is a respectable challenge as there are still many great players whom u cud buy

i did a similar game with some mates and had some good success where we could only buy players 33+ and see who could take their club the furthest, which basically meant who could stay in the prem for longest after around 2 seasons haha.

although i never did get relegated, so i'll suggest a few players:

Juninho pernambucano - should be got for under 1mil - 33
david beckahm - free come jan -34
Juliano Belletti - again under 1 mil -34
oswaldo sanchez - GOOD mexican goalkeeper if you need one cheap and older - 36
Jan Koller - top notch target man did a good job for me, not prolific, but plenty of assists - 36
olivier dacourt - pick up for under 400k and does a solid job in the middle - 34
